Membership

It is easy to become an ESC member which offers a number of advantages:

1. The membership fee includes a discounted United States Figure Skating (USFS) fee. USFS membership is required in order to be able to participate in USFS-sanctioned competitions, shows, skating tests, etc.
2. As a member, you can purchase supervised and monitored club ice on either a monthly or hourly basis. This allows you to work with your coach on Moves in the field, Freeskate programs, Dances, etc. in an environment where all skaters observe the necessary rules of safety and courtesy. The schedule of club ice with the fees is mailed to members at the start of each skating season.
3. Membership also qualifies for application to join one of the club’s teams – NJ Skyliners, Essex Blades, Bravo! Theater on Ice.
4. Finally, members have at their disposal the choice of world-class coaches in all skating disciplines that can further their skating careers in the appropriate direction.
